Born and raised in the East Bay, Charra has been crocheting since she was 9 years old. Throughout her life, she has used her art as a way to relax and process through her experiences and emotions. Crochet is her favored art medium.

"Born in Washington state and raised in the bay area, I draw much of my inspiration from my time spent in nature. Since I was six years old I split my time in between Oakland and Sebastopol, so Duality stands out to me - having had both small town and big city upbringing. I try to focus on spiritual aspects of nature & organic form in hopes of letting those who view my work develop a deep desire for connectedness with the earth, cosmos, and spirit. My intent is for this to help create a more positive and balanced reality."
